Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks in Autumn, WY

Sept 22 - 28, 2007

In northwestern Wyoming are two of the most outstanding photographic destinations in America - Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Autumn is an ideal time to visit both of them.
Yellowstone National Park is a wonderland of hydrothermal features, waterfalls and outstanding wildlife. We will explore the thermal areas to photograph the spectacular geysers, beautiful hot pools, and delicate terraces. Yellowstone's waterfalls are both numerous and beautiful. The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River is spectacular. In autumn, Yellowstone's abundant wildlife is in prime condition and the mating season for Elk, Moose, and Bison is at its peak. The underbrush and aspens in the Northern part of the Park are ablaze with color.
Few American landscapes are more dramatic, more awe-inspiring, or more beautiful than the Grand Tetons. They leap abruptly from the valley floor. A necklace of blue lakes reflects them. Picturesque fences and barns in the valley at the base of the Tetons provide interesting foreground material. In late September, the gold of the aspen and cottonwood trees creates a very special mood in the Tetons. Moose and elk are also abundant and are easily observed and photographed.
Come with us to northwestern Wyoming to experience and photograph Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks at one of the most attractive times of the year.
